Our gallery

Four ways into the work

Browse by where a piece will live. Garden sculptures and metal gates and fencing for outside, interior sculptures and lighting for the home. Many designs can be made for either, so it is the material and finish that decide where a piece belongs.

Why JK Metal Art

Made properly, by people who care how it lasts

  • Genuine craftsmanship

Every piece is handmade and produced freehand in our workshop. Nothing is templated, so each one is a bespoke, one-off piece.

  • Sustainability

We prioritise recycled and reclaimed steel, much of it from our sister engineering and fabrication business, and give it a second life.

  • Coded welder team

Larger commissions are built by a small team of coded welders, so architectural pieces are as sound as they are striking.

  • Family business

Run by Paula, with every piece designed and made by Jon. We have worked together as a family for more than 25 years.

  • Multiple metals

Corten weathering steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised and powder coated finishes, chosen to suit where the piece will live.

  • End-to-end service

From the first sketch to installation on site, one team sees the piece through. Quality and longevity are what you are paying for.

About us

Visit the Showroom

Photographs only go so far. Our showroom in the Monmouthshire countryside is where you can see finished pieces up close, judge their scale and talk through what you have in mind with the people who make them.

Draft copy: opening times, directions and what visitors can expect to see will be added from the content gathering session.

Our process

From Sketch to Finished Sculpture

Every commission starts with a conversation and a sketch. From there Jon shapes the piece by hand in the workshop, cutting, forming and welding freehand, before it is finished in Corten, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised or powder coated to suit where it will live.
